Alan Scott Light was the son of Charles Edward Huntley Light, postmaster, and Veronica (nee Scott) Light of Battleford, Saskatchewan. He had two brothers, James and Colin, plus two sisters, Margaret and June.
He was the pilot of Cessna Crane 8016 and lost his life when his training aircraft from No. 4 SFTS crashed into the Saskatchewan River. For his detailed story, please click on the links below.
